As a Travel Consultant with an internationally leading lifestyle management company, you will cater to a sophisticated premium clientele, designing tailor-made journeys that meet the highest standards. In this role, you will merge your travel expertise with a keen sense of luxury, trends, and service quality. You will not just be a consultant; you will become a trusted point of contact for clients seeking exceptional experiences worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Advising premium clients by phone and email in both French and English.
- Handling customer inquiries from quote preparation to billing for individual trips.
- Making reservations with airlines, hotels, and travel agencies.
- Creating tailored offers, travel documents, and detailed itineraries.
- Passionately advising and facilitating unique travel experiences.
- Actively selling special promotions and exclusive offers.
Your Profile
- Proficient in professional French and English (C2 according to The Common European Framework), both written and spoken.
- Ability to speak an additional language, such as German or Italian, is an advantage.
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent training, ideally in tourism.
- Several years of professional experience in the travel industry, a tour operator, or a travel agency.
- GDS knowledge (preferably Amadeus).
- Excellent destination knowledge across key global regions.
- Strong passion for travel and the luxury lifestyle, including gastronomy, events, and culture.
- Service-oriented, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
- Positive attitude and alignment with the company’s values.
- Strong communication skills with a commitment to exceptional service.
- Available for full-time (40 hours per week) work.
- Willingness to work 5 days a week between 08:00 and 20:00, Sunday to Thursday for the UK and Spain, and between 07:00 and 22:00, Sunday to Thursday for South Africa.
Guidelines for Hybrid/Remote Option
- Located in the United Kingdom, Spain, or South Africa.
- If within commutable distance, a hybrid working arrangement is expected, with at least 2 days in the office.
- A secure home office at your confirmed address, free from background noise or distractions is required.
- Must meet minimum internet speed requirements for remote work or hybrid models.
- First week of employment requires 100% in-office work to support onboarding and cultural immersion.
- Work-From-Home (WFH) assessment will be assigned on Day 1 and is due within the first week.
- Post Week 1, transition to a hybrid arrangement is possible, subject to assessment success.
- Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
