Join our Swiss market-leading Deal Transformation and Post-Merger Integration Team as we help clients navigate the complexities of mergers and acquisitions. Our team specializes in providing advisory services to corporate and mid-market clients looking to create value from M&A, divestitures, and carve-outs. With a team of dedicated experts, we leverage deep functional expertise in finance, human resources, commercial, supply chain, and technology to deliver integration and separation advisory services.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Design and Validate AI Use Cases: Collaborate with M&A practitioners to translate business problems into well-scoped, testable AI applications with clear success metrics.
• Engineer End-to-End AI Solutions: Take ownership of the technical development of generative AI tools, from prompt architecture through evaluation frameworks and production deployment.
• Establish Evaluation and Quality Standards: Develop rigorous testing methodologies to assess model outputs and validate accuracy against domain expertise.
• Optimize for Production: Troubleshoot AI solutions in real-time client engagements and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Build Reusable AI Infrastructure: Document patterns and lessons learned to create a foundation for rapid iteration and knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with M&A colleagues and the wider Deloitte AI community to remain abreast of platform developments and emerging capabilities.

Who We Are Looking For

• Strong AI Fundamentals: Experience with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and generative AI in a professional or research setting. Familiarity with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini is essential.
• Technical Depth in AI: Proven ability to design prompts, evaluate model outputs, and iterate based on performance metrics.
• Problem-Solving and Systems Thinking: Ability to analyze ambiguous business problems and structure evaluation frameworks.
• Learning Agility for Domain Knowledge: Willingness to rapidly acquire knowledge in M&A topics to inform AI design decisions.
• Communication Across Disciplines: Capable of translating technical AI concepts into business language clearly.
• Ownership and Accountability: Responsible for solution quality, proactively identifying risks, and driving tasks to completion.
• Strong Academic Background: Degree in computer science, data science, AI, machine learning, or related fields, with 1-2 years of relevant experience being a plus.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English; proficiency in German or French is advantageous.
