Technical Writer (IT/Infrastructure) - Remote
We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer in the IT Infrastructure space for a contract role of 6+ months with our international client. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the creation and refinement of technical documents to support the Infrastructure team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Technical Writer, creating and updating technical documentation.
- Support the Infrastructure team in developing, amending, and replacing existing documents.
- Write technical documents, including target operating models and disaster recovery plans.
- Establish new technical project templates and update or replace outdated documents.
- Organize documentation within shared systems; define a strategy for storing these documents.
- Assess and enhance the current document storage methods for improved accessibility.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer in the IT space.
- Strong background in creating technical documents specifically within the Infrastructure and IT sectors.
- Extensive experience with SharePoint and JIRA.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and the Office 365 suite, particularly in PowerPoint.
- Nice to have: Knowledge of CoPilot & Atlassian tools.
- Experience with AI tools to automate document creation is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Nearshore candidates are preferred.
Project Details:
- Start: As soon as possible
- Duration: Initial contract until the end of the year, with the possibility of extending to 6-12 months
- Workload: 5 days per week
- Location: Fully remote
