Your Impact

  • Work within our expanding international corporate financial services tax team based in Zurich, with a specific focus on M&A and restructuring.
  • Provide proactive tax expertise to a diverse client portfolio, primarily consisting of private equity and real estate clients, while advising on international tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
  • Lead the management and coordination of multi-country M&A and restructuring projects, which include tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA reviews, tax modeling, and post-completion tax advisory services, utilizing the support of associates and senior associates.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance financial services, private equity, and real estate practices to strengthen client relationships, expand the client base, and diversify service offerings.

Your Skill Set

  • A master's degree or an above-average bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or law; a specialization in tax or international tax is preferred, with an LLM in international tax considered advantageous.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in taxation and M&A-related tax matters within an international context. Experience with private equity or real estate clients is preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing and coordinating multi-country tax projects.
  • Strong leadership abilities to guide and mentor a team of senior associates and associates on complex tax projects.
  • A flexible, persistent, and open-minded individual who thrives in challenging circumstances, possessing a customer-oriented personality and excellent communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of the intersection of economics and law, with a knack for numbers, models, evaluations, and the related legal issues.
  • Exceptional written and spoken English skills; proficiency in German and/or additional languages is a plus.
