Role and Responsibility
As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for the improvement and development of drone avionics. This includes various aspects such as electrical wiring, sensors, avionics boxes, battery and power management.
- Enhancing technical drawings, wiring diagrams, specifications, configurations, and settings.
- Conducting tests on components and sub-systems, with a focus on electrical components and systems.
- Supporting the testing of the complete drone system.
- Utilizing root cause problem-solving techniques.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Performing electrical assembly of components and systems for testing.
- Managing suppliers of avionics components and systems.
- Assuming responsibility for system design.
- Improving processes and procedures at SwissDrones.
Your Profile
- Solid technical education, such as an apprenticeship as an aircraft electronic technician or an equivalent qualification.
- Optional higher education in fields like electrical engineering, avionics engineering, or systems engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the avionics and electronics field.
- Proficiency in one of the major CAD programs for electronics.
- Experience in electrical design, manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
- Experience in environments with high quality and safety requirements, e.g., aviation, automotive, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
- Software integration, configuration, programming, or development skills are a plus.
- A high degree of flexibility and adaptability within a dynamic and growing company.
- A willingness to solve problems and enhance company procedures and processes.
- A strong team player mentality.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with M365 applications (SharePoint, Outlook, Teams).
- A strong can-do/will-do attitude.
