Supply Chain Planning Consultant / Supply Chain Planning Consultantess

Deloitte AG - December 7, 2025

Location: Zurich/Basel

Work Pattern Percentage: 80% - 100%

Are You Ready to Make an Impact?

Are you passionate about shaping the future of supply chains? Ready to dive into cutting-edge technology and make a real difference for global clients? At Deloitte, we’re looking for dynamic, curious, and driven Supply Chain Planning consultants eager to grow their expertise while tackling exciting, real-world challenges.

How You Can Make an Impact

As a Supply Chain Planning consultant, you will:

  • Develop deep functional and conceptual knowledge of supply chain planning — from Sales & Operations Planning to Demand Forecasting and beyond.
  • Drive innovative, tech-enabled solutions that transform the way our clients plan, produce, and deliver.
  • Support clients in building robust processes, capabilities, and governance, or guide them through Advanced Planning Systems (APS) assessments, selections, and implementations.
  • Advise organizations of all sizes on capacity planning, product launch strategies, materials management, and the latest enabling technologies.
  • Prepare reports, proposals, and documentation to support client engagements and business growth.
  • Own your projects autonomously while collaborating closely in small, agile teams.
  • Pick your passion: dive into a topic that excites you and develop it through research, a point of view (PoV), or even a client engagement.
  • Collaborate regularly with Deloitte’s Supply Chain Planning team to brainstorm solutions and develop ideas for ongoing projects and business development.
  • Experience a vibrant mix of working alongside colleagues in our offices and spending time on-site with clients — from corporate HQs to factories — to truly understand their challenges.

Who We Are Looking For

We seek a management consulting enthusiast with:

  • A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Production Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in Supply Chain Planning disciplines such as Integrated Business Planning, Inventory Optimisation, Network Design, and Production Scheduling.
  • Knowledge of Materials Management, Product Launch Planning, and cut-over management.
  • Prior exposure to APS (Advanced Planning System) as an end-user, an implementation consultant, or product specialist is an asset.
  • Independence, proactivity, and readiness to take ownership in projects where you can shine as a key resource.
  • A team-oriented mindset with intellectual curiosity and a hunger for continuous learning.
  • Comfort in working within an international context, including potential travel abroad.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages such as French or German is a strong advantage.
  • Certification or progression towards credentials like APICS or other Supply Chain/Operations certifications is a plus.

Your Team

You will join a vibrant, supportive team connected across EMEA and globally, with:

  • Exposure to end-to-end supply chain transformation projects — from strategy and design to hands-on implementation.
  • Opportunities to work with multinational clients across diverse industries, including Consumer Business, Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, and Industrial Manufacturing.
  • Access to extensive internal and external training programs to enhance your skills and career.
  • The freedom to explore and develop your ideas through research, PoVs, or client projects — your growth is in your hands.
  • Career progression opportunities aligned with your ambitions and interests.
  • A supportive environment where your input is valued and your ideas are encouraged.
