Supervisor Position Available

Role Overview
As a Supervisor Engine Shop Floor, you will be responsible for developing and managing a highly effective team of approximately 20 to 25 employees. You will focus on safety and quality while ensuring that time and cost expectations are met. Your role will involve coordinating the team’s efforts with direct stakeholders at SR Technics to align with the organization’s goals and missions.
Your Responsibilities
- Promote a positive safety culture by effectively communicating and implementing safety and quality policies within the organization.
- Lead and manage a diverse team, fostering performance, engagement, and a positive work environment.
- Drive a performance culture through periodic target setting and structured follow-ups with all employees, applying performance management processes with a focus on motivation.
- Plan and allocate resources to ensure high productivity while monitoring labor efficiency.
- Facilitate personnel development and skill management to meet capacity requirements (on-the-job training, qualifications, certifications, performance evaluations).
- Execute and advocate for continuous improvements by applying Lean principles and 5S to achieve organizational targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Participate in, prepare for, and be responsible for internal and external audits.
Your Profile
- Technical background or education with aviation experience considered an asset.
- Leadership experience with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and develop teams; a minimum of 3 years of team leadership or strong project leadership preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Proactive, independent, and self-initiated working style with a high performance drive.
- Knowledge and experience in applying Lean/Six Sigma methodology.
- Proficient in English (B2+); German is a plus.
- Proficiency with maintenance documentation systems. Microsoft Office required; SAP is an advantage.
