Operating Room Nurse Wanted for a Hospital in the Basel Region

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse / Operating Room Nurse (m/f/d) to join our team in the Basel area.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and caring for patients prior to surgery, including hair removal and disinfecting the surgical area.
• Setting up and managing surgical positioning according to established guidelines before, during, and after procedures.
• Welcoming patients at the entrance of the operating area.
• Providing and operating various medical technical devices, alongside their maintenance.
• Managing surgical materials and inventory.
• Participating in weekend and on-call duties as required.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a nurse, healthcare professional, or nursing assistant.
• Experience in surgical positioning, with additional training in this area being a plus.
• Affinity for technical devices and a flexible approach to work.
• High social and professional competence, with a strong sense of quality and responsibility.
• Excellent proficiency in the German language.
• Willingness to participate in on-call and weekend duties.
