Job Opportunity: Hands-On Consultant for Software Procurement
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced consultant to support our client's software procurement department. This role involves managing supplier relationships and negotiating enterprise agreements in alignment with business and technology objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of strategies for software, cloud, and IT services.
- Participate in negotiations with software vendors, cloud providers, consulting firms, and resellers.
- Manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Collaborate with IT, Product Management, Finance, and business stakeholders.
- Optimize contracts, licensing models, and procurement processes.
Required Skills
- 3-5+ years of experience in IT procurement, software sourcing, or technology purchasing.
- Strong knowledge of software licensing, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, cloud contracts, and SLAs.
- Proven experience in negotiating enterprise agreements with global software and cloud vendors.
- Excellent stakeholder management, supplier management, and contract negotiation skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
