Job Opportunity: Experienced Accountant (m/f/d)

We are seeking a skilled Accountant with extensive expertise in French accounting standards (PCG) for our esteemed client. This role is integral to the finance department, focusing on day-to-day accounting activities, statutory reporting, and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the French Plan Comptable Général (PCG).
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory tax filings.
• Perform account reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
• Coordinate with auditors and external tax advisors as needed.

Requirements:

• Several years of professional accounting experience, ideally in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of the French Plan Comptable Général (PCG).
• Knowledge of IFRS is considered an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Business-fluent in French and English (minimum B2 level); German language skills are not required.
