Objective of the Role

The primary goal of this position is to develop stock and sales plans for each account that align with financial targets and company objectives. This individual will engage regularly with distributors and retailers to strategize on sales and marketing, fostering strong relationships while gaining insights into their goals, market conditions, challenges, competitors, and opportunities.

Key responsibilities include preparing and tracking quarterly profit and loss statements for each account to ensure financial goals are met, reviewing and optimizing the yearly advertising and promotion budget from partners, and monitoring distributor and retailer sales, stock levels, and activities to drive sales while maintaining the brand's integrity.

Additionally, the candidate will create forecasts and budgets that align with Revlon's overall strategy, negotiate pricing and distributor terms for optimal market positioning, and assess store conditions to meet both company and distributor objectives. The successful candidate will also launch new products effectively, follow up on distributor meetings with actionable insights, and collaborate with internal teams to achieve organizational and account goals encompassing orders, payments, logistics, marketing, and finance.

Ensuring brand presentation and visual standards are adhered to is also crucial.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Languages: Fluent in English; proficiency in French is highly desirable, and Italian or Spanish would be an asset.
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities, including margin calculations, ROI assessments, and P&L analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all corporate levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills combined with a proactive mindset and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Initial experience in team management, even managing one person, is considered a plus.
  • Ability to maintain consistent performance under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or finance.
  • 5–10 years of sales experience within the FMCG industry.
  • Previous experience managing distributors in the FMCG industry is a strong advantage.
  • Experience in the beauty industry is a plus.
  • Prior professional experience in Switzerland would be beneficial.
