To support our expanding client and project base, we are looking to enhance our team in Spreitenbach.
Position Overview: Project Engineer
As a Project Engineer at SpectraFlow Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in the commissioning of our online analyzer solutions and the associated control software for a global customer base in the cement and mining sectors. Your involvement will not only encompass the initial commissioning phase, but also ongoing client support, addressing inquiries and concerns, and evaluating system performance, while identifying necessary services or components.
What to Expect from the Job:
- Commission our NIR online analyzers onsite in coordination with the client's team.
- Implement expert systems for process control.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned clients, training and supporting them in using the analyzer and addressing service requests.
- Collect and clarify reference samples for calibration purposes.
- Conduct acceptance tests to ensure quality and performance.
- Actively contribute to project management in a solution-oriented manner.
- Support our After Sales Team in enhancing customer satisfaction proactively.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a process engineer in the cement or mining sectors.
- Several years of experience in commissioning analytical systems at client sites.
- Proficient in programming PLCs and connecting them to control systems through OPC/fieldbus.
- Experience with Windows and Linux-based embedded systems.
- Familiarity with near-infrared real-time measurement systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in advanced process control software.
- Willingness to travel internationally to remote sites.
- A structured and organized work ethic, demonstrating proven ability to manage and document action-oriented tasks efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to articulate complex topics to diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive and results-driven approach to motivate teams and ensure project success.
- Fluency in English and one additional language (both written and spoken).
