We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Investment Analyst with extensive expertise in precious metals mining equities.
Description of the Role
- Conduct technical and financial assessments of mining assets, with a focus on gold and silver, utilizing DCF models and resource-based valuations.
- Prepare investment cases, including sensitivity analyses and stress testing.
- Perform on-site due diligence of mining operations globally, including remote locations.
- Participate in international mining conferences and industry events.
- Collaborate with technical experts, management teams, and industry stakeholders.
- Provide support in investor communication, marketing, and fundraising activities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (MSc) or higher in Finance, Economics, Geology, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the analysis of precious metals mining equities from both technical and financial perspectives.
- Proven experience in constructing financial models, particularly DCF and resource-based valuations.
- A strong understanding of geological and mining concepts.
- An established professional network within the mining industry.
- Experience interacting with brokers and capital markets participants.
- Willingness to travel internationally, including to remote locations.
- Familiarity with the Swiss regulatory environment (e.g., FinSA conduct rules) is a plus.
- Fluent in English.
