Job Description

In this role, you will provide comprehensive care for patients within our geriatric inpatient unit. You will be part of a motivated interdisciplinary team that includes nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, nutritional counseling, and speech therapy. This collaborative environment currently features a lead physician, a senior physician, and an assistant physician, all working towards the advancement of the geriatric department. Additionally, your expertise will facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration with various other departments.

As the senior physician, you will also take on the important responsibility of training and educating assistant physicians, shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• You hold a specialist qualification in General Internal Medicine (FMH) or an equivalent EU diploma recognized by the Federal Office of Public Health (BAG).
• You either already have training in geriatrics or are willing to undergo this training.
• You are a resilient, committed, and team-oriented individual with strong organizational skills.
• You possess high social competence and a deep understanding of elderly care.
• You enjoy mentoring assistant doctors and educating students.
• Your German language proficiency is excellent in both spoken and written forms.
