Join Our Team as a Mechanical Design Engineer (M/W/D) ⚙️

We invite you to be a part of our Techfirm Industrial Services team as we embark on new challenges in Switzerland!

Your Responsibilities

• Design power electronics devices with precision and creativity.
• Gather information and document design improvements while staying updated with product strategic plans and gaining insights into technical drivers and customer value.
• Contribute innovative ideas to R&D projects and propose follow-up activities based on project results.
• Provide consulting services to business operations, including design to cost, design for manufacturing, and design for testing.
• Collaborate with working teams, assist co-workers, and consult with team members and colleagues to enhance knowledge and information sharing.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanics (FH or equivalent).
• 5 years of experience in an electromechanical environment.
• 1-3 years of experience in a work package leader or project/product leader role.
• Proficient in CAD/Creo design.
• A solution-focused mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident in R&D product development methods such as Agile, Scrum, and Lean Six Sigma.
• Fluent in English; basic knowledge of German is a plus.
