We are excited to announce an opening for a MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER (M/W/D) ⚙️ who is ready to take on new challenges with us in Switzerland!
What Will Be Your Tasks
- Responsible for the design of power electronics devices.
- Gathering information, documenting, reporting, and tracking design improvements while staying aligned with product strategic plans and developing an understanding of technical drivers and customer value.
- Contributing your own creative ideas to R&D projects and proposing follow-up activities based on project results.
- Providing consulting services to business operations, including design to cost, design for manufacturing, and design for testing.
- Participating in working teams and offering assistance to co-workers, while consulting team members and colleagues to share information and knowledge.
What You Should Bring with You
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering (FH or equivalent).
- 5 years of experience in an electromechanical environment.
- 1-3 years of experience as a work package leader or project/product leader.
- Strong knowledge of CAD/Creo design.
- A solution-focused approach with exceptional written and spoken communication skills.
- Familiarity with R&D product development methods, such as Agile, Scrum, and Lean Six Sigma.
- Fluent in English; basic knowledge of German is a plus.
