About the Role

The Enterprise AI & Reimagine Work team is a central group committed to shaping and accelerating AI-enabled ways of working across the organization. Our mission is to partner with business units and functions to translate leadership priorities into actionable initiatives, scale high-impact projects, overcome execution hurdles, and develop reusable solutions that empower teams to work more efficiently. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage at the intersection of enterprise transformation, artificial intelligence, and practical problem-solving.

Main Responsibilities

• Independently drive strategic tech/AI projects for the Novartis Group, the CEO, and the Executive Committee.
• Define cross-cutting solutions—including cross-functional working groups and tech products—to maximize AI integration within the business.
• Generate strategic insights through best-in-class analysis, translating findings into recommendations for informed decisions by top-level leaders regarding AI and Reimagining Work.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on select technology-related topics for the team.
• Establish a network of tech/AI experts and leaders across Novartis.

What You'll Bring to the Role

• A Bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree (MS, MBA) is preferred.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required, with knowledge of additional languages being a plus.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in digital/AI-related fields, such as product management or digital analytics.
• Proven track record in driving strategic AI/digital transformation with a focus on value creation.
• Considerable experience gained in a top-tier consultancy at a managerial level.
• Project and program management experience in strategic projects, ideally within the pharma/healthcare sectors, demonstrating a strong business impact.
• Effective and persuasive communicator with excellent presentation, verbal and written communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work with and lead multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers and architects.
• Experience in executive-level communications.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed for business purposes.

The expected annual base salary range for this role is CHF 150,500.00 - CHF 215,000.00 - CHF 279,500.00. This base salary is determined based on gender-neutral criteria, including relevant skills, competencies, and experience, and it will be reviewed periodically.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus contingent upon specific performance metrics.
