Help Our Clients Successfully Manage Global Challenges

Our Actuarial team provides a comprehensive range of actuarial support across various domains, including life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We regularly collaborate with teams in Audit & Assurance, Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation on large-scale projects. In this role, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from day one, with the responsibility to lead projects or workstreams and deliver reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Develop and coach the actuarial team in life insurance.
• Lead business development initiatives for the actuarial team in life and health insurance.
• Deliver projects in collaboration with other actuaries or within a multidisciplinary team, taking responsibility for specific workstreams or projects.

What to Expect

• Directly lead a variety of client projects, including actuarial transformation projects, M&A transactions, audits, and valuations.
• Manage the lifecycle of projects from proposals to delivery and invoicing.
• Engage in business development by identifying new business ideas and opportunities while generating new clientele.
• Participate in and lead thought leadership initiatives.
• Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruiting and training new talent to performance reviews and promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

• A University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
• Qualified actuary “Actuary SAA” or equivalent.
• Experience in an actuarial position, preferably in Consulting within the Swiss market.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with a strong willingness to learn and contribute, enjoying collaboration with diverse individuals.
• Fluency in German and English is essential; proficiency in German/Swiss German is a must.
• Proven business development experience is highly desirable.
• Affinity with technology, including actuarial modeling tools, AI platforms, and data platforms.
