Our Swiss market-leading FSI Deal Transformation and Post-Merger Integration Team advises Swiss corporate and mid-market clients to generate and create value from their Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestitures, and Carve-outs. With a dedicated team of FSI experts, we deliver integration and separation advisory services, leading complex engagements with our clients, while deploying deep functional expertise in finance, human resources, commercial, and technology.

At Deloitte, we support our clients with end-to-end M&A advisory, collaborating closely with colleagues from transaction services, valuations, and corporate finance. As part of the Strategy, Risk and Transactions Business Line, we further work alongside our Strategy, Sustainability, Regulatory, Forensics, and Technology teams to ensure a seamless and value-driven approach to transactions.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • M&A Integration and Separation Leadership: Develop tailored methodologies and a forward-looking approach to lead complex M&A integrations and separations.
  • M&A Value Creation: Oversee operational and financial analyses to assess synergies, impacts, and complexities of carve-outs, as well as the potential for performance improvements in buyouts and divestments.
  • Exceptional Client Service: Advise clients across Deloitte’s offerings, building strong relationships while leading engagement teams with a focus on quality and robust methodologies.
  • C-suite Intimacy: Elucidate ideas into tangible solutions, becoming the go-to contact for delivery transformation for client CXOs.
  • Project Scope and Delivery: Define, plan, and execute project scopes while managing client expectations for high-quality deliverables.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Inspire and guide team members to reach their full potential, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Analytical and AI Solutions: Provide strategic insights and advice while deploying advanced analytical and AI solutions.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Demonstrated FSI experience with an entrepreneurial mindset; a self-starter, highly motivated to lead and grow, capable of working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with a focus on strategic decision-making, attention to detail, and a proven ability to simplify complex concepts and create executive-level narratives.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top-tier university with exceptional academic marks.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant M&A experience in consulting or industry roles, with clear experience in sectors such as banking, wealth management, or insurance.
  • Strong acumen in project and stakeholder management, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and executive storytelling.
  • An aptitude for AI technologies and a keen interest in integrating AI solutions to enhance client outcomes and drive innovation.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent interpersonal skills, and experience working in an international context; proficiency in German is desired.
