Our Actuarial team provides a comprehensive range of support in life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We consistently collaborate with teams in Audit & Assurance, as well as other service lines, including Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation, on large-scale projects. In this role, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from the outset, with responsibilities to lead projects or workstreams and deliver reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Develop and coach the actuarial team for life insurance.
• Lead business development activities for the actuarial team in life and health insurance.
• Deliver projects collaboratively with other actuaries or within multidisciplinary teams.
• Take responsibility for workstreams or projects.

What to Expect

• Directly lead a variety of client projects, such as actuarial transformation projects, M&A transactions, audits, or valuations.
• Manage the lifecycle of projects from proposals through delivery to invoicing.
• Business development: identify business ideas and opportunities, generating new business with both internal and external clients.
• Participate and lead thought leadership initiatives.
• Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and training to performance reviews and promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

• You possess a University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
• You are a qualified actuary “Actuary SAA” or equivalent.
• You have experience in an actuarial position, preferably in Consulting within the Swiss market.
• You demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills, a strong willingness to learn, and a passion for collaboration across diverse fields.
• You communicate confidently in German and English with stakeholders at varying levels – German/Swiss German is essential.
• You have proven experience in business development.
• You show a keen affinity for technology, including actuarial modeling tools, AI platforms, and data platforms.
