Job Description

The Platform Engineering area at SMG Real Estate manages the Internal Development Platform, which serves as the foundation for other teams to develop, maintain, and manage our products.

We are currently looking for a talented DevX Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team, which is composed of Developer Experience (DevX) and Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

As a member of the DevX team, you will:

  • Collaborate with engineers to understand their challenges and improve their experience.
  • Utilize your knowledge and expertise to develop an optimal development platform for our engineering teams.
  • Define processes, frameworks, and best practices for development across the Real Estate business unit.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for deploying our product components.
  • Support automation and "as code" provisioning of the underlying infrastructure for our products.

Qualifications

Must-haves:

  • A passion for helping engineers be more productive and ensuring a positive work experience.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • 5+ years of experience with TypeScript.
  • 2+ years of experience with Vue.js, particularly version 3.
  • 2+ years of experience with Node.js.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience in Developer Experience or Platform Engineering.
  • Familiarity with AWS Lambda.
  • Experience with AWS CDK.
  • Knowledge in implementing deployment pipelines, particularly with GitHub Actions.
  • Experience in maintaining component libraries.
