Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated accounting professional to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in our reporting processes. Responsibilities may include the following, along with other duties as assigned:
- Apply accounting principles to analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive internal and external financial reports.
- Prepare and consolidate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and accompanying financial notes.
- Leverage data analytics tools to automate workflows, optimize reporting processes, and deliver actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Adopt a continuous improvement mindset to identify process inefficiencies and implement solutions that enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate or contribute to complex accounting projects and initiatives across various functions.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 5–8 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, or audits.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards (e.g., US GAAP, Swiss GAAP).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI.
- Proven ability to prepare and consolidate financial statements, perform financial analysis, and support audits and tax compliance.
- A continuous improvement mindset with experience in identifying inefficiencies and implementing effective solutions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
