About the Role: Senior Director / Client Officer

The Ipsos Client Organization (CO) is creating a new position for a Senior Director / Client Officer. Our mission within the CO is to deliver greater value for our clients while achieving profitable growth for Ipsos. The team is comprised of senior executives dedicated to driving new business and cultivating long-term client relationships by understanding the business context and priorities of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive New Business Development: Initiate and cultivate relationships with new and lapsed clients. Leverage your industry connections and engage in strategic conferences to identify prospective business opportunities.
  • Ensure Client Relationship Excellence: Maintain and enhance relationships with a portfolio of top-tier clients. Focus on growth through diversification and exploring new business questions while collaborating with the Chief Client Director.
  • Be the Voice of the Client: Work with Ipsos teams to represent the clients’ needs and ensure they receive the best of Ipsos.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in client relationship management, preferably with large international clients.
  • Experience in managing multi-stakeholder relationships, including indirect management.
  • Proven track record in revenue generation, focused on developing and securing new opportunities.

Knowledge and Technical Skills

  • New Business Sales Experience: Proven ability to grow business with existing clients and successfully acquire new clients.
  • Strong Network: Established relationships with a range of clients in the industry.
  • Advisory/Strategic Thinking: Skilled at elevating discussions to business and decision-making levels.
  • Social Media Savviness: Expertise in utilizing social media to elevate industry presence and reflect Ipsos’ stature.
  • Market Research Knowledge: Detailed understanding of core market research solutions to identify new opportunities for clients.

Languages

  • Highly proficient in written and spoken English; all client and internal communications are conducted in English.
  • Knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.
