Position: Client Service Director
Our Creative Excellence team in Geneva, specializing in quantitative advertising research, is seeking a Client Service Director. This role offers the opportunity to thrive in a multicultural and collaborative environment that champions diversity and inclusion. You will work closely with passionate creative advisors and partner with significant international clients across various product categories and services throughout the creative excellence journey.
There is a degree of flexibility in this position with a mix of office work (3 days a week) and remote work.
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to and drive turnover to meet the set budget for the team.
- Retain and grow business with accountability for structural clients.
- Contribute to the commercial roadmap and monitor commercial activations.
- Understand the client’s organization and establish solid relationships with key contacts.
Leadership Role
- Lead the Creative Excellence team and drive performance with optimized workload management.
- Mentor and develop team expertise through regular feedback and organized training sessions.
- Collaborate closely with the project management team.
High-Level Consultancy
Deliver exceptional consultancy to clients throughout their creative excellence journey, from initial stages to in-market evaluation:
- Understand category and business dynamics.
- Consult with clients to identify needs and shape the most relevant research and learning plans.
- Interface with other Ipsos service lines and global dedicated teams to provide a holistic perspective to clients.
- Be a trusted creative advisor and partner for your clients.
Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
- Drive a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Inspire the team by sharing expertise and insights.
- Actively promote the creative excellence expertise within Ipsos and in external environments.
Desired Skills and Experiences
Essential:
- University degree, preferably in marketing, market research, social sciences, communication sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience within market research agencies.
- Strong client management skills with a commitment to outstanding service.
- Commercial excellence acumen.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Solid market analysis skills, translating data into insights.
- Proficient in English.
- Curiosity, proactivity, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Collaborative and supportive mindset.
Desirable:
- Internationally-minded and multicultural with strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Passionate about creativity, advertising, media, and digital, with relevant professional experience.
- Knowledge of languages other than English is an advantage.
