Help our clients solve the biggest IT challenges in their M&A journeys

Our IT M&A specialists play a key role in delivering complex M&A technology integration and separation projects. We advise our clients on maximizing value and managing technology risks throughout M&A transactions. Supporting them from deal closing through Day 100 to post-deal completion, we address transaction priorities and future growth ambitions.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Work on challenging M&A projects, whether within a larger team or serving as an advisor on smaller engagements.
  • Assist clients in navigating complex M&A environments arising from acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, and restructuring projects.
  • Engage with several industries, including life sciences, financial services, industrials, and consumer products.
  • Collaborate in international teams with highly professional colleagues: take part in business development activities, marketing initiatives, and practice development efforts.
  • Broaden your network by collaborating with other departments within the company or member firms outside Switzerland.

Who We Are Looking For

  • A university degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience in consulting or a corporate setting.
  • Knowledge of the M&A lifecycle and an understanding of IT's role from deal closing through Day 100 to post-deal completion.
  • Experience in at least two of the following areas:
    • Leading IT separation and integration programs, along with IT-specific sub-workstreams.
    • Understanding specific IT sub-categories such as ERP systems design and implementation, Enterprise Architecture, IT Service Management, etc.
    • Planning and executing technology integration and separation strategies across various IT domains.
    • Preparing and managing Day 100, Day 2, and TSA exit readiness, including executive reporting (e.g., dashboards, checklists).
    • Developing detailed technical IT blueprint documentation (e.g., application separation scenarios).
    • Creating IT migration/transition plans.
    • Defining TSA exit-plans and associated costs.
    • Establishing and managing a technology PMO.
