Position: Senior Composite Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop composite components and assemblies for high-performance applications
- Propose and evaluate structural concepts with a focus on weight, performance, and manufacturability
- Support and coordinate engineering changes throughout the product lifecycle
- Take ownership of technical work packages, ensuring delivery in line with project scope and timelines
- Create and maintain 3D models, 2D drawings, and product structures using CAD and PLM tools
- Prepare and manage composite manufacturing data and related documentation
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality requirements, and engineering best practices
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams across engineering and production
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders at different organizational levels
Our Ideal Candidate Should Have
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in composite structures design, preferably within a regulated industry
- Strong proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting tools (NX or similar CAD systems preferred)
- Familiarity with composite design methodologies and related software tools (e.g., Fibersim or equivalent)
- Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
