We offer a broad range of expertise, encompassing software engineering, biomedical data management, lab automation, and screening services. Within this multidisciplinary team, the Clinical Bioinformatics Group applies its knowledge in bioinformatics and statistics to advance biomedical research and clinical applications.
We are seeking a Senior Bioinformatics Analyst to join the Clinical Bioinformatics Group of NEXUS Personalized Health in Basel, with a start date to be determined by mutual agreement.
The primary focus of this role is project-specific analysis of diverse high-throughput multi-omics datasets, which include a variety of data types such as whole-genome sequencing, transcriptome sequencing, single-cell, and spatial data. As a Senior Bioinformatics Analyst, you will be instrumental in designing, executing, and documenting analytical workflows while upholding scientific rigor and best practices.
In this position, you will take the lead on assigned analyses while collaborating closely with the group lead and other experts within the NEXUS team. The role combines independent analytical work with active participation in project planning, interpretation, and dissemination of results.
