Introduction

The Department of Management, Technology, and Economics (D-MTEC) is seeking an Admissions & Recruitment Manager (80-100%) to join the MAS MTEC team for an 8-month maternity cover. The Master of Advanced Studies ETH in Management, Technology, and Economics is a renowned continuing education program at ETH Zurich, boasting a long history of excellence in management education for experienced professionals. Since 1980, over 2,000 graduates have leveraged the advantages of ETH Zurich and the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics to advance into management and leadership roles in their respective careers.

Project Background

This position serves as a maternity leave cover with a defined project scope aimed at maintaining continuity in admissions and recruitment activities during this period. As the Admissions & Recruitment Manager, you will facilitate the daily delivery of admissions and recruitment tasks for our MAS ETH MTEC program. You will engage closely with prospective candidates throughout their journey—from initial inquiries and profile assessments through to admissions and enrollment. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that established admissions and recruitment processes operate seamlessly, providing candidates with a consistent and high-quality experience.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging directly with prospective candidates through consultations, interviews, and follow-up conversations.
• Supporting candidates throughout the admissions journey, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
• Managing the candidate pipeline and CRM, ensuring leads and applications are consistently followed up and candidate information is kept up to date.
• Coordinating the day-to-day admissions process, including interviews, admissions documentation, and candidate communication.
• Organizing and delivering recruitment events and activities, including information sessions, webinars, and other candidate-facing events.
• Coordinating with external recruitment and lead-generation partners, ensuring incoming leads are processed effectively.
• Collaborating with the Programme Manager, Marketing and Communications Manager, and the wider program team to implement planned recruitment activities.
• Monitoring the recruitment pipeline and key conversion metrics, preparing regular reports on progress.
• Supporting general recruitment and admissions administration as required.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in admissions, recruitment, sales, or another customer-facing role.
• Strong communication skills in English and a high level of customer orientation.
• Confidence in engaging with prospective candidates from diverse professional and international backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple candidates and activities simultaneously.
• The ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience working with CRM systems is an advantage.
