Your Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, professional service, anticipating guest needs and personalizing interactions.
  • Coordinate concierge services and report arranged services in the Hotel Manager’s Cruise Report.
  • Manage guest requests or complaints, escalating to the Hotel Manager as necessary.
  • Oversee Front Office operations including check-in/out, billing, cashier duties, currency exchange, record keeping, and excursion bookings.
  • Manage onboard money flow, including the safe, daily cashier responsibilities, deposits, and compliance with GRC rules.
  • Handle cruise and monthly closing tasks such as invoicing, credit card settlements, cash books, and financial reports.
  • Control delivery notes for all onboard supplies.
  • Manage IT and payment equipment responsibly, reporting technical issues promptly.

Specific Requirements

  • Supervise, train, and appraise Front Office employees; ensure efficient workflows and compliance with working hour regulations.
  • Act as the Hotel Manager during absences or holiday rotations, providing directives to officers/crew as needed.
  • Support the Hotel Manager in maintaining GRC administrative and hospitality standards.
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness at the Front Desk and other hospitality areas.
  • Participate in daily briefings, end/start-of-season preparations, and supply loading.
  • Adhere to working hour regulations and attend trainings and safety drills.
  • Possess excellent computer and IT skills.
  • Actively engage in assigned learning activities, training sessions, and mandatory safety or emergency drills.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written; additional languages such as German, French, Portuguese, or Italian are advantageous.
