Job Description

The Social Support and Guidance Pole (PASO), part of the Directorate of Integration and Solidarity (DIRIS) under the General Directorate of Social Cohesion (DGCS), is dedicated to monitoring and developing projects and programs focused on reception, advice, support, and social guidance. To enhance our team, PASO is seeking a dedicated Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Ensure coherence, coordination, and an overall vision among partners and projects conducted by DGCS for social support and guidance for young adults (FORJAD) and adults (FORMAD) without completed vocational training.
• Monitor, contract, and oversee PASO partners delivering social support and guidance services to individuals seeking training or currently in training.
• Advise and inform social action partners, their hierarchy, department heads, and all concerned parties on assigned themes and projects.
• Develop innovative projects in the field of social support and guidance for individuals without vocational training or those in training.
• Participate in the development of population-based social support and lead projects within this framework.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in social or political sciences or equivalent qualification is required.
• Project management training is highly desirable.
• At least 5 years of experience in the social field or project management.
• Solid knowledge of the Vaud cantonal administration and social policies.
• Proficiency in standard IT tools.
• Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility and public service ethics.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and synthesis skills.
• Proven adaptability and flexibility.
• Strong listening and communication abilities.
• Outstanding organizational and planning skills, with effective priority management.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
