Production Planning Specialist - Contract - San Francisco, CA

Transform data into action and contribute to the success of a dynamic clinical operations environment. Proclinical is seeking a Production Planning Specialist to join our client's team. In this crucial role, you will ensure that the Clinical Operations department is optimally staffed and equipped to meet the demands of patch interpretation. This position requires expertise in workforce planning, production forecasting, performance analysis, and scheduling to enhance efficiency, quality, and employee satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily logistics and management of Clinical Production queues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Analyze daily production metrics and adhere to key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure timely handling of expedited requests within the Clinical Escalation process.
  • Utilize Tableau Dashboards and QA tools for monitoring the Clinical Queue and promptly address operational issues.
  • Triage aging scans and reallocate responsibilities to stay within the company's service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitor special accounts and ensure proper allocation of scans for timely completion by Patch Technicians.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance departmental workflow.
  • Provide constructive feedback to Clinical Managers regarding systems and operational concerns for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain adherence to job-specific proficiency requirements and fulfill all assigned duties while upholding high standards of performance and professionalism.

Skills & Requirements

  • An associate degree or equivalent coursework; two years of college coursework is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, MS Teams, Excel, Adobe, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
