Responsibilities
In the role of Product Safety Specialist, you will:
- Apply and promote risk assessment processes in accordance with EN ISO 12100 and ensure their effective implementation.
- Coordinate the implementation of product risk assessments in collaboration with the engineering department.
- Ensure compliance with applicable product safety requirements, guidelines, and standards.
- Facilitate communication with customers and external stakeholders regarding product safety and risk assessments.
- Identify potential risks encompassing mechanical, electrical, software, and technical aspects.
- Contribute to technical discussions and challenge existing solutions from a safety perspective.
Profile
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- A diploma in a technical field.
- Several years of experience in an industrial environment (experience with machinery or heavy-duty equipment is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of combustion engine technologies.
- Good understanding of a broad range of technical concepts (technical drawings, mechanical design, hardware/software development).
- Practical experience in product safety and risk assessment (familiarity with EN ISO 12100).
- Proficiency in both French and English.
