Responsibilities
As a Harness Designer, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing wiring harness assemblies for combustion engines. Your role will also encompass the following:
- Taking into account technical scheduling and financial aspects.
- Preparing technical presentations and defining the wiring harness topology and technology approach in collaboration with the E/E design team.
- Creating and managing 2D drawings and developing bill of materials.
- Designing and defining cabling components, including electrical cables and connectors, in accordance with standards, regulations, and functional requirements.
- Supporting the PLM system by creating and maintaining documentation and component specifications.
- Planning, executing, and evaluating tests.
Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Several years of experience in wiring harness design.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office, Zuken E3, PTC Creo Cabling, and PLM Albatros.
- Knowledge of Zuken E3 is a plus.
- Familiarity with PTC Creo Cabling is advantageous.
- Fluency in French, with a good command of English and German.
