International School Rheintal is seeking dedicated and impactful Primary Years Programme (PYP) teachers to join our diverse and experienced team. Your Profile

Candidates should bring a rigorous and inclusive approach to teaching and learning within the primary years. A strong background in language teaching for both English home language and English language learners, along with a commitment to an inquiry-led approach, is essential. You will bring learning alive both inside and outside the classroom.

We seek practitioners who are either experienced in, or pedagogically aligned with, the IB approach. A passion for learning and professional growth is crucial in our school, where we champion individualized professional development. We are looking for teachers who demonstrate a professional commitment to a student-initiated, inquiry-led approach to teaching and learning, and who utilize direct teaching methods where research supports this approach, such as systematic synthetic phonics.

We are seeking teachers who:

  • Are qualified primary years teachers with a minimum of three years of teaching experience and at least a bachelor's degree
  • Have significant expertise in teaching within the primary phase
  • Are willing to go the extra mile to design and deliver engaging and impactful learning experiences
  • Promote a well-organized, inspiring, and inquiry-led learning environment
  • Exude enthusiasm and demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and inclusive approach to students, colleagues, and the wider community
