About Us

We have recently relocated to our award-winning, ecologically designed campus in the heart of Rheintal, Buchs. As a 'small and mighty' not-for-profit international school, we foster a nurturing environment within a vibrant community of 200 students and over 50 staff members. As an International Baccalaureate World School, we provide a comprehensive international education in English for students aged 3-19. In 2020, we proudly ranked 9th in Switzerland for our IBDP results and placed within the top 50 in Europe.

Due to our continued growth, the International School Rheintal is seeking a dedicated and impactful Primary Years Programme (PYP) teacher. We are looking for educators who bring a fun, rigorous, and inclusive approach to teaching and learning within the primary years. • Are willing to go the extra mile to design and deliver engaging and impactful learning experiences.

  • Exhibit enthusiasm and demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and inclusive approach to students, colleagues, and the wider community.
  • Are internationally-minded and committed to the IB philosophy and approach.
  • Are confident in integrating technology into teaching and learning to enhance student outcomes.
  • Are committed to continuous improvement.
  • Engage with and contribute to the full life of the school.

We will provide:

  • An excellent salary and benefits package.

  • A professionally stimulating and supportive community environment, both locally and internationally.
  • An opportunity to work in an award-winning campus and directly influence the future development of our school.

At ISR, we are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment where children and young people can thrive and learn. We uphold a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our students, regardless of race, ability, religion, gender, or culture.
