Your Tasks
- Conduct research on the theory of angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES).
- Implement new methods and enhance open-source scientific software within the group.
- Perform first-principles simulations of ARPES for materials pertinent to orbitronics.
- Identify fingerprints of orbital angular momentum.
- Identify promising materials for orbitronics applications.
- Collaborate with experimental groups.
- Support general research and teaching activities.
Your Profile
- A PhD degree in Physics or a closely related field.
- A strong background in theoretical condensed matter physics or related disciplines.
- Basic knowledge of photoemission spectroscopy or related techniques.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of first-principles simulations of materials based on DFT.
- Proficient programming skills in Fortran and Python.
- Good command of English and excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with both theoretical and experimental partners is essential.
