Your Future Responsibilities

You will play a vital role in the installation and welding of pipes for district heating networks by:

• Installing and welding pipes following plans and technical specifications.
• Carrying out excavation work, including the placement, adjustment, and connection of pipes in trenches.
• Utilizing various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc) based on materials such as steel and copper.
• Conducting pressure tests and leak checks on installed networks to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Interpreting isometric drawings and piping diagrams to guarantee quality and precision.
• Adhering to safety and quality standards in place at construction sites, particularly regarding excavation work.
• Collaborating with engineering and technician teams to ensure smooth project progress.
• Participating in the maintenance, repairs, and modifications of existing networks.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A diploma in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a pipe fitter welder, preferably within the district heating sector or underground networks.
• Significant experience, preferably in Switzerland.
• Advanced welding techniques, particularly with piping systems for thermal fluids.
• Confirmed experience in excavation work, with a strong understanding of safety measures on site.
• The ability to read and interpret complex plans and technical diagrams.
• A welding certification (such as EN 287, ISO 9606, or equivalent) is a valuable asset.
• Self-reliance and a strong team spirit.
• A valid driver's license.
