Your Tasks
- Utilize Machine Learning models for automated analysis of core image data and geophysical data logs.
- Implement explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) techniques to identify driving features of the ML models and investigate their interpretability.
- Conduct uncertainty quantification to evaluate the reliability of predictions and the robustness of ML/AI models.
- Publish results in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at conferences.
Your Profile
- You hold a master's degree in geosciences (such as geochemistry, geology, geophysics, or a related discipline) with a strong interest in artificial intelligence and data-driven modeling, or alternatively, a master's degree in data science, mathematics, computer science, informatics, or physics with a keen interest in geoscience applications.
- You possess experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, R, Matlab, C/C++).
- You have an active interest in various data types (e.g., images, categorical, numerical, geoscientific, subsurface data) and their interpretation.
- You boast good communication and writing skills in English.
