Your Tasks

As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing chemical analyses using ICP-OES and ICP-MS, with occasional support for GC-MS and LC-MS measurements.
  • Supporting the development, validation, and optimization of analytical methods under supervision, primarily for ICP-based analyses.
  • Operating, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting analytical instruments.
  • Evaluating, documenting, and reporting analytical results.
  • Providing technical advice and analytical support within a multidisciplinary project team.
  • Ensuring safe, organized, and efficient laboratory operations.
  • Assisting in training and supporting apprentices, interns, students, and researchers in analytical techniques.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree or professional qualification in chemistry, with a higher professional examination for chemical laboratory technicians, or equivalent expertise.
  • Extensive practical experience in ICP-OES and ICP-MS, including sample preparation, method development, troubleshooting, and data interpretation.
  • Basic to intermediate experience with GC-MS and LC-MS analytical techniques.
  • Good computer skills, particularly in analytical and spectroscopy data processing software.
  • Very good command of English; proficiency in German is desirable.
