We are seeking a dedicated minister to join our team, focusing on enhancing our resources and building community through outreach and pastoral care. If you possess an ecumenical approach, communicate God's message in a relatable manner, thrive in an international environment, appreciate cultural diversity, and are fluent in English, we would love to hear from you.
This opportunity is open to Church of Scotland Ministers and other ministers in the Reformed tradition affiliated with a member church of the World Communion of Reformed Churches. Ministers outside the Church of Scotland need to obtain a certificate of eligibility from the Church of Scotland before their applications can be considered.
The successful candidate will serve as the minister for both the Lausanne and Geneva Congregations, which are currently in deferred linkage.
While the primary role is focused within your Charge or Appointment, you will also engage with Presbytery duties, including serving on Presbytery committees and fulfilling roles as Interim Moderators. There may also be opportunities to serve on committees of the General Assembly.
These responsibilities contribute to the functions of those ordained to the Office of Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Church of Scotland.
A degree in Divinity or Theology is required for this position.
Swiss work and residence permit regulations apply. The Acts of the Church of Scotland are also relevant to this role.
