Red Global is seeking to hire two Observability Engineers in the EU for a freelance position. This role is fully remote and expected to last for 3 months or longer. We are developing an Enterprise Agent Development Platform— a production-grade, cloud-native ecosystem that enables teams to define, orchestrate, deploy, and observe AI agents at scale.

Observability Engineer - AgentCore Telemetry
Required Skills:
- AWS Distro for OpenTelemetry (ADOT)
- OpenTelemetry SDK (Python)
- AWS AgentCore Observability
- AWS CloudWatch (Metrics, Logs, Structured Logs)
- AWS X-Ray (distributed tracing)
- LangChain instrumentation
- W3C Trace Context and Baggage propagation
Mandatory Experience:
- 3+ years in observability engineering
- OpenTelemetry instrumentation of Python services
- AWS CloudWatch and X-Ray integration
Observability Engineer - Telemetry Extension & ADOT Pipeline
Required Skills:
- AWS Distro for OpenTelemetry (ADOT) collector configuration (pipelines, processors, exporters)
- OpenTelemetry SDK extension patterns (custom metrics, custom spans, configurable telemetry)
- Python SDK library design
- AWS CloudWatch Metrics and X-Ray export pipelines
- YAML-driven telemetry configuration schemas
Mandatory Experience:
- 3+ years in observability or platform engineering
- ADOT or OTel collector pipeline design
- Python SDK or library development
