About the Family

A private family residing in Geneva (1206) is seeking a French-speaking, gentle, reliable, and dynamic nanny to primarily care for their 4-year-old son, currently in 1P. The family also has an 11-year-old boy who is largely independent and does not require constant supervision. The ideal candidate should be naturally comfortable with both children and contribute to a pleasant and serene atmosphere at home.

The current need is focused on Wednesdays, with the possibility of increasing hours when the mother returns to work. The family is open to various profiles, including seriously experienced students with childcare experience, and is primarily looking for a trustworthy person to build a stable relationship with.

Your Responsibilities

• Primarily care for the 4-year-old boy during the day on Wednesday.
• Propose games, outings, and activities suitable for his age and interests.
• Prepare and accompany the child during meals and snacks.
• Ensure his well-being, safety, and rhythm throughout the day.
• Promote his autonomy and development through fun and stimulating activities.
• Be available for the 11-year-old boy when necessary while respecting his independence.
• Eventually assist with school pickups and after-school care during the week, depending on the family's needs.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience with children, especially young ones.
• Fluency in French is essential; another language is a plus but not required.
• A gentle, reliable, punctual, and responsible individual who is comfortable with children.
• Ability to organize a day with a 4-year-old and spontaneously suggest suitable activities.
• A dynamic and autonomous profile with good practical sense.
• A serious student with childcare experience would be a perfect fit.
• Looking for a regular and stable commitment.

Schedule & Organization

• Every Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Current position is approximately 25%.
• Possibility of increasing hours when the mother returns to work.
• Potential for additional care on other weekdays, especially from 4:00 PM for school pickups.
• This evolution remains to be confirmed and will depend on the family's future needs.

Conditions

• Location: Geneva, 1206.
• Contract: Permanent.
• Start Date: From October 7, 2026, or later, depending on availability.
• Current rate: Approximately 25%, subject to change.
• Main Schedule: Wednesday, 8:30 AM–6:00 PM.
• Compensation: CHF 25 gross/hour.
