Position Overview
Pomoca recently implemented a new ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) in March 2025, focusing on finance, commerce, and payroll during its first year. The implementation of MRP will be completed in 2026, and you will be responsible for the comprehensive integration of MRP. This includes ensuring data quality, configuring accurate settings, and establishing efficient processes for smooth MRP operations.
Your role will be pivotal in optimizing purchasing planning, logistics flows, and production scheduling processes to maximize efficiency in manufacturing, logistics, and procurement. Your primary contacts will be within purchasing, logistics (line-side procurement), and production (scheduling).
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Understand the MRP logic of Business Central and all its parameters.
- Configure MRP to ensure optimal results that align with company needs.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of item Master Data, including bill of materials and routings, and ensure data quality to support MRP functionality.
- Execute and manage the MRP process in the ERP system to generate purchase and production orders based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and stock levels.
- Analyze material availability and recommend measures to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Monitor and maintain relevant master data for planning, covering lead times, safety stock, order quantities, and bill of materials accuracy.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure alignment between procurement requirements and delivery schedules.
- Support S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes by providing accurate material and production planning information, while also organizing the monthly S&OP meeting to synchronize the medium-term production schedule and capacity.
- Identify and implement process improvements in MRP and planning workflows.
Profile
- A degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in material requirements planning (MRP), production planning, or supply chain functions within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of MRP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365, and their underlying logic.
- A digital mindset.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and production flows.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail, able to translate business issues into MRP solutions.
- Fluency in French (working language) and English.
- Preferred: Experience in the sporting goods or textile industry and a passion for mountain/outdoor sports.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Power BI, etc.).
