About the Role

Pomoca recently implemented a new ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) in March 2025, focusing on finance, commerce, and payroll in its first year. The MRP component was only partially integrated in 2025 and will be fully completed in 2026.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the complete implementation of MRP. This entails ensuring data quality, correct MRP settings, and streamlined processes for smooth MRP operations. You will play a crucial role in optimizing purchasing planning, logistics flows, and production scheduling processes to achieve maximum efficiency in manufacturing, logistics, and procurement.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Understand the MRP logic of Business Central and all its parameters.
  • Configure MRP to ensure optimal results aligned with company needs.
  • Grasp the structure of item MasterData, including bill of materials and routings, to maintain sufficient data quality for effective MRP functionality.
  • Execute and manage the MRP process within the ERP system to generate purchase and production orders based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and stock levels.
  • Analyze material availability and propose actions to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Monitor and maintain relevant master data for planning (lead times, safety stock, order quantities, and bill of materials accuracy).
  • Collaborate with procurement, production (scheduling), sales, and warehouse teams to ensure consistency between procurement requirements and delivery schedules.
  • Support the S&OP (sales and operations planning) processes by providing accurate material and production planning information. You will organize the monthly S&OP meetings where sales and production agree on the medium-term production schedule and capacity.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in MRP and planning workflows.

Profile

  • Education in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in material requirements planning (MRP)/production planning or supply chain functions within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365) and their operational logic.
  • A digital mindset.
  • Good grasp of supply chain processes, inventory management, and production flows.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to translate business issues into MRP solutions.
  • Fluency in French (working language) and English.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience in the sporting goods or textile industry, a passion for mountain/outdoor sports, and proficiency in data analysis tools (Power BI, etc.).

What We Offer

  • Stable employment with a market leader in mountain sports equipment, backed by a solid financial position.
