Our impressive client roster reads like a who’s who of the technology world. If you thrive in a start-up environment that challenges established tech giants and you are a proactive problem solver motivated to push your limits and defy the status quo, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
Role Responsibilities
- Design circuit models with abstraction levels ranging from mathematical descriptions to back-extracted circuit performance, enabling trade-offs between simulation time and accuracy.
- Deliver circuit models that generate sub-block circuit specifications from architecture specifications and system models.
- Verify post-layout sub-blocks to ensure they deliver the specified, modeled performance.
- Communicate effectively with technical leads, designers, and the system modeling team throughout the design process to optimize block specifications and performance, ensuring system modeling accuracy.
- Document and present the performance of modeled sub-circuits at various phase gates in the design cycle.
- Document modeling methodology and establish correlations among abstraction levels and with analog circuit simulations.
- Innovate and deliver creative modeling solutions for analog circuits.
- Adopt a rigorous approach focused on delivering high-quality results using Kandou’s design process flow.
Competencies
- Minimum of 7+ years of relevant industry experience in analog IC design and modeling.
- Hands-on experience in analog circuit design and modeling of high-frequency circuits.
- Experience modeling analog circuits using languages such as VerilogA, SystemVerilog, Python, or MATLAB.
- Familiarity with Cadence analog design EDA tools.
- Experience using Ocean and MDL to automate analog simulations and extract circuit performance.
- Strong communication and presentation skills suitable for interfacing with internal and external customers.
- An autonomous self-starter who is also a team player.
- B.Eng. or equivalent (or higher) degree in Electrical Engineering / Microelectronics.
