The International Section is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Middle School English & Humanities Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will teach students in Grades 7 and 8, delivering a curriculum that prepares them for advancement into the IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme. This role requires a passion for designing and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons that foster strong literacy skills, critical thinking, and curiosity about the humanities.
Responsibilities
- Support students’ academic and personal development both within and beyond the classroom.
- Contribute to collaborative curriculum planning.
- Participate actively in the school’s rich co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Degree in English, Humanities, or a closely related subject.
- Teaching qualification recognized for lower and upper secondary education.
- Proven teaching experience at the Middle School level.
- Highly motivated educator with excellent pedagogical skills and a strong commitment to student-centered learning.
- Confident, flexible, and collaborative professional who enjoys working with young people in an international boarding school environment.
- EU/EFTA Citizenship.
