IT Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our client in the pharmaceutical industry. In this role, you will lead vital initiatives related to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), and broader digital transformation projects.

This is a hands-on delivery position requiring someone who can take full ownership of a complex project environment. You will be responsible for establishing realistic delivery baselines and actively driving cross-functional teams alongside external partners to meet agreed milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Delivery: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, testing, deployment, and go-live.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate and align IT, business, operations, and laboratory workstreams for seamless delivery.
• Schedule & Risk Management: Actively monitor critical path activities, dependencies, and RAID logs, implementing mitigation strategies to maintain on-schedule delivery.
• Stakeholder Accountability: Ensure workstream leads and vendors meet their commitments, proactively address delays, and escalate blockers when necessary.
• Executive Updates: Deliver clear and transparent project reports and regular updates to steering committees and senior leadership.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of delivering enterprise IT projects within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Practical hands-on delivery experience with MES and LIMS implementations.
• Strong understanding of project governance, critical path scheduling, dependency mapping, and risk management.
• A high-accountability leadership style, with the confidence to challenge timelines, remove obstacles, and drive team commitments.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse technical and business audiences.
