Your Responsibilities
As the Director of Marketing, you will:
- Own the go-to-market strategy for our most exciting growth initiatives, deeply understanding customer needs and market dynamics.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Head and leaders across Sales and Marketing teams globally.
- Lead all product marketing efforts while ensuring on-brand localization of product messaging and strategies.
- Drive the global positioning framework and messaging hierarchy across our program and destination portfolio.
- Develop and oversee go-to-market strategies for launches, expansions, and updates, ensuring scalability and adaptability.
- Champion customer and market intelligence by owning the voice of the customer and insights that inform the product roadmap.
- Create and maintain sales tools, training, and enablement materials in collaboration with Product Heads and Sales Management.
- Define audience personas and translate these into actionable briefs for channel teams.
- Partner with Commercial Directors on pricing strategies, creating compelling market-ready narratives.
- Establish departmental KPIs and set clear goals to cultivate a culture of accountability.
- Monitor industry trends to ensure EF remains competitive and future-ready.
Qualifications for Success
You will thrive in this role if you have:
- 8–12 years of experience in product marketing, brand management, or go-to-market strategy, ideally within education, travel, or subscription-based businesses.
- Strong international experience with high emotional intelligence, capable of balancing local relevance with global scalability.
- Exceptional collaboration and networking skills, complemented by strong presentation and storytelling capabilities.
- Experience with planning, budgeting, and managing a P&L.
- The ability to create and present strategic briefs that resonate with both creative and market teams.
- Expertise in designing and managing go-to-market plans on a global scale.
- Strong leadership in customer research and competitive intelligence.
- Channel literacy across paid, organic, SEO, social, and CRM.
- A deep understanding of emerging communication, media consumption, and marketing trends.
- A natural capability to turn big ideas into tactical execution.
- Unmatched curiosity about human behavior and communication.
- Efficient project management and strong organizational skills.
