Help Our Clients Successfully Manage Global Challenges

As a (Assistant) Manager in the Global Employer Services (GES) team, you will provide multinational companies with targeted advice and strategies for managing Global Mobility programs efficiently. Our team supports clients with the end-to-end management of global compensation for internationally mobile employees and optimization of tax compliance and positions. As part of the US Tax team, you will advise on US tax returns and compliance topics and review US tax returns for final signoff before delivery.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Coordinate our global tax compliance services, liaising directly with clients and Deloitte offices worldwide.
  • Review and sign US individual income tax returns for US resident and nonresident taxpayers, including Forms 1040, 114, 8938, 1116, 2555, 8858, and others specific to US residents with activities outside the United States.
  • Review and sign tax reconciliations and tax equalization calculations, leading various tasks related to the successful delivery of Global Mobility programs for our clients.
  • Oversee the tasks and quality of work performed by junior team members.
  • Interpret and implement International Assignment Policies, ensuring consistent global tax treatment of various assignment compensation items and allowances.
  • Advise clients on the tax and social security implications related to various global employment issues, including tax residency, avoidance of double taxation, and taxation of complex compensation such as severance payments, long-term and short-term incentive income.

Who We Are Looking For

  • You have successfully completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Accountancy, or Law.
  • You possess over 5 years of US tax experience/knowledge and hold relevant qualifications (e.g., EA, CPA, etc.).
  • Experience in global mobility or a Big 4 firm is a plus.
  • You are proactive, take the initiative, and enjoy taking on responsibilities, thriving in project team environments with a systematic approach.
  • You communicate fluently in English; additional languages would be advantageous.
