Our award-winning ecologically designed campus is situated in the heart of the Rheintal, in Buchs. As a 'small and mighty' not-for-profit international day school, we offer a supportive environment in a thriving school community of 200 students and over 50 staff. We are an International Baccalaureate World School, providing a full international education in English for ages 3 to 19. In 2020, we ranked 9th in Switzerland for our IBDP results and placed among the top 50 schools in Europe.

About the Role

• Your role: School Nurse
• Workload: 47% Full-Time Equivalent
• Contract duration: 1 April 2026 (earlier start possible) to 31 October 2026
• Location: International School Rheintal, Werdenbergstrasse 17, 9470 Buchs, Switzerland

This part-time position aligns with the school term calendar, offering a consistent schedule ideal for work-life balance. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 13:15, during ISR term time, with one additional week at the end of the school year and one week prior to the school year starting (195 days on average).

Your Profile

We are looking for a highly professional colleague who thrives in an international context and knows how to maximize the potential of the students they support.

We are seeking a School Nurse who:

• Is fully certified and authorized to practice nursing in Switzerland.
• Has a minimum of three years of experience in community health, pediatrics and/or emergency care.
• Brings a strong community-oriented approach and a genuine passion for working with children and young people (ages 3 to 19).
• Demonstrates a proactive and flexible "can-do" approach to health management and emergencies.
• Possesses excellent communication skills in English and maintains strict confidentiality across a diverse student body and staff.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, contributing to a positive and healthy school environment.
